The 1-1/2 quart Brome® Squirrel Buster Legacy Bird Feeder features Brome’s award winning, patented Squirrel Buster™ technology. This feeder is truly squirrel-proof and eliminates seed loss to pilfering squirrels.

Chew-proof openings in the bottom wire section of the feeder align with seed ports providing birds access to the seed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing the seed ports.
Weight adjustable closing mechanism effectively shuts out red and gray squirrels as well as some heavier undesirable birds. Dismantles for easy cleaning. Built-to-last construction!

Frequently Asked Questions

Place your feeder where birds can see it and get to it, and where the birds can easily fly away if they feel unsafe. Avoid putting it close to where predators can easily access backyard birds.
Clean your feeder often, especially if you notice that it has leftover and/or spoiled food on or in it. This prevents the food from rotting and attracting unwanted animals to your feeder and the area around it. Refer to “Keeping Bird Feeders Clean & Healthy” for guidance.
It depends on the kind of birds you are trying to attract, and the kind of food you are trying to put out. Most feeders are tube feeders, hopper feeders, platform feeders, suet feeders, or something else that is specific to the kind of food you are putting out. Refer to “Getting Started with Bird Feeding” for guidance.
